Notice of Invitation to Bid for Closing

This sealed bid has been invited for the sale of program time, program sponsorship, sale of advertising time packages in news, various news sponsorships and live broadcasting for the fiscal year 2082/083 in the public service broadcaster Nepal Television, the national broadcaster.

1. Bid forms can be purchased from the Central Office of Public Service Broadcasting Nepal Television, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, by paying the following fees within the 15th day from the date of publication of this notice during office hours. If the last day for purchasing bid forms falls on a public holiday, they can be purchased until the office hours of the first day the office is open.

Annually Rs. 20 lakhs minimum amount specified, Rs. 1000 per bid form.-(One thousand in words only)

Annually Rs. 20 lakhs and above up to Rs. 20 million, if the minimum amount specified is Rs. 3,000 per bid form. - (Three thousand in words only)

Annually Rs. 20 million up to 100 million with a minimum amount specified, Rs. 5,000 per bid form. - (Five thousand in characters only)

2. While submitting the proposal, the bidder shall submit a separate sealed bid proposal for each slot or package for program sponsorship, time sale, sale of advertisement packages in news, various news sponsorship and live broadcasting. The name of the slot or package to be purchased and the bid number shall be clearly mentioned outside the envelope of each bid proposal.

3. The duly sealed confidential proposal must be registered at the Business Division of the Central Office of the Public Service Broadcasting Nepal Television, Sihandarbar, Kathmandu, by 12:00 PM on the 15th day following the date of publication of the notice for the first time. The submitted bids will be opened at Nepal Television at 2:00 PM on the same day in the presence of the bidder's representative. Even if the bidder's representative is not present, it will not be considered an obstacle to opening the bids. If the last day for registering the sealed confidential proposal falls on a public holiday, the proposal registration and opening of the bids will be done on the first day after the office is open within the specified time.

4. The bidder shall submit a security deposit of 2.5% (two point five percent) of the total annual amount including VAT along with the bid along with the bid. The amount for the security deposit shall be deposited in the current account number 34401010000645 of Nepal Television at Global I. M. E Bank Ltd. or a bid security issued by a Class A commercial bank with a validity of at least 120 days from the date of opening the bid.

5. For the purpose of purchasing time for broadcasting a program, a portion of the program must be submitted sealed in a dummy envelope.
