Public Service Broadcasting Nepal Television intends to lease a 20 MHz Standard C-Band Satellite Segment on Geostationary satellite for content distribution and TV transmission of its Channels.

For this purpose, Nepal Television invites sealed bids from interested Bidders for Bid No. NTV-082/83-01 for "Request for Proposal for Standard C-Band Satellite Bandwidth Acquisition on Geostationary satellite".

The offered Satellite Service shall include:

1. 20 MHz space segment (Continuous) of Standard C-Band.

2. Offered services shall be on single Transponder.

3. 24/7 Customer Support.

1. The Bidders, who meet the Qualification Criteria can participate in this Bid. Therefore, before purchasing the Bidding Document, Bidders are requested to read the document available in http://www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp carefully.

3. Bidding documents may be purchased by eligible bidders from the EGP of PPMO www.bolpatra.gov.np upon by submitting bank receipt non-refundable fee of NPR. 10,000 (In Words: Nepali Rupees: Ten Thousand Only). Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Nepal Television, Central Office, Singhadurbar, Kathmandu, Nepal at 02:00 PM on 23rd July, 2025.

4. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives (if none of the representatives is present, even the bid shall be opened) at 01:00 PM on 17th August, 2025 atNepal Television, Central Office, Singhadurbar, Kathmandu, Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security, amounting to US$. 20,500.00 (In Words: United states dollar twenty thousand five hundred Only) which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period .If the bidder intends to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash shall deposit in the account of the Purchaser and submit (upload) the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the bid. 5. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last day. In such case, the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.

6. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all Bids at any time prior to Contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the Bidders.
