Call for sealed bids

Since the service of cooking and feeding daily meals to about 30-35 tuberculosis patients admitted for treatment at TB Nepal, Nepalgunj Tuberculosis Referral Center needs to be purchased from 1st Sawan 2082 to mid-Ashar 2083, interested individuals/firms who are registered with Value Added Tax (VAT) and have obtained a license are invited to submit sealed bids.

Conditions of Bidding

1. The tender form, including the list of rations and nutrition to be provided by the office for the weekly meal and nutritional service to be provided to tuberculosis patients, can be purchased from the administration branch of this office by the interested person/firm by paying Rs. 1000 in cash (non-refundable). The person/firm should also submit the bid on the same form.

2. The bidder must submit the firm registration certificate, VAT registration certificate (including renewal) and tax payment certificate for the financial year 2080/081 along with the bid, but tax payment certificate will not be required for new firms. Also, all bidders must submit samples of rice and pulses on the day of opening of sealed bids.

3. While submitting the bid, the deposit amount of Rs. 50,000.00 (Fifty thousand rupees only) deposited in the current account no. 05500300322478000001 of T.B. Nepal Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Ltd. Branch Office, Nepalgunj, along with the original voucher should be submitted along with the bid and the deposit amount of the unsuccessful bidder will be refunded.

4. Once a sealed bid has been submitted, it will not be possible to revise it.

5. No action will be taken against sealed bids that are received after the deadline, are not in compliance with the rules, or are submitted with conditions.

6. The outer envelope of the sealed bid shall clearly state the catering service, along with the name, address, contact number and seal of the firm.

7. The rates mentioned in the bid must be clear. The total amount must be stated in both figures and words. If the amount differs, the words will be considered.

8. The sealed bid must be sent to the Administration Branch of this office by 3:30 PM on Monday, 5th Sawan, 2082.

9. Sealed bids will be opened at this office on Monday, 12th Sawan, 2082 (if the said day falls on a holiday, the next day the office is open) at 12:00 PM in the presence of the bidder or his representative and the Bid Procurement Committee. The absence of the bidder or his representative at the specified time will not be considered as an obstacle to the opening of the bids.

10. An agreement will be made for the service of cooking and feeding the successful bidders selected by the office. In addition, a canteen can also be operated in the office premises to serve lunch to the employees of this center. Thus, the construction of the tent for the canteen will be done by the operator himself, and the rate of lunch will be determined by mutual agreement.

11. The office will provide kitchen, furniture, gas cylinder, stove, refrigerator and some utilities for cooking. In return, the office will be required to pay a monthly rent of N.R. 1,000.00 and charges will be levied on the basis of the usage of other services.

12. This office reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bids received, without giving any reason.
