Notice inviting confidential sealed bids for the 35-day auction sale of the Problematic Cooperative Management Committee Office, Anamnagar, Kathmandu

As per Section 81 of the Cooperative Act 2076, the Bagmati Province Government has declared Civil Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited Soltimod as problematic and has entrusted the responsibility of managing the assets and paying the liabilities of the institution to this committee formed under Section 82 of the same Act. Therefore, for the purpose of returning the savings of the savers of Civil Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited, a secret sealed bid has been invited within 35 (thirty-five) days, subject to the conditions mentioned in the details, without reducing the minimum price specified by the committee. This notice has been published for all stakeholders to submit a secret sealed bid if interested savers, institutions and individuals wish to apply. (b) Conditions:

1. Bids will have to be submitted to purchase the above-mentioned land in its current condition.

2. Interested individuals, firms, organizations or companies may purchase the bid form from the committee office by paying Rs. 2000 during office hours within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice.

3. Bids must be submitted by 5:00 PM on the 35th day from the date of publication of this notice. Bids so submitted will be opened the next day at 2:00 PM in the office of this committee in the presence of the bidder or his representative. If that day falls on a public holiday, it will be opened the next day at the appointed time. However, the bid opening shall not be prevented even if the bidder or his representative is not present.

4. The sealed bid form must clearly state the amount bid in figures and words without any redaction. No one can tamper with the bid after it is submitted and the bid must be unconditional.

5. In the case of the person submitting the bid, he/she will have to appear in person with a certified copy of his/her Nepali citizenship certificate and a certified copy of the license, registration certificate, value added tax and income tax registration certificate of the firm, corporate body or company.

6. Interested individuals, firms, organizations or companies must deposit 10% (ten) percent of the agreed amount in the name of the bank account holder at Rastriya Banijya Bank Singha Durbar in the name of the Problematic Cooperative Management Committee, Bank Account No. 1960100000049001 and submit the original voucher along with the bid.

7. Bids purchased in the name of an interested individual, firm, corporate body or company may not be submitted in the name of another individual, firm, corporate body or company.

8. Interested individuals, firms, organizations or companies shall participate in the bidding process either individually or through a joint venture. The agreement shall be valid only in a joint venture of a maximum of 3 (three) individuals, firms, organizations or companies wishing to participate in this manner, and a copy of the agreement in that venture shall be compulsorily enclosed with the bid.

9. The party acquiring the land shall pay all taxes and liabilities due to the Government of Nepal.

10. The committee will have the right to accept or reject the bid.
