Notice inviting confidential sealed bids for the sale of non-banking assets

The non-banking assets (houses/land) mentioned in the schedule owned by this bank will be sold as is, in the same condition as they are, through confidential sealed bids. Interested individuals, firms and companies are hereby invited to submit their sealed bids to the concerned branch office, stating the price they are willing to pay, using the bid form available at the Debt Recovery Department of this bank's central office, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu and branch office, Dharan, Sunsari, within 7 (seven) days from the date of publication of this notice.

Details of non-banking assets

Bid Application Registration and Opening Office: Branch Office: Dharan, Sunsari

1. House/land with area 0-5-13-0, 0-5-13-0, 0-5-13.5-0 and 0-5-0-0 (bighas) respectively, located in Ward No. 9 (Sit No. 9/D) of Itahari U.M.N.P.A., Sunsari District, registered in the name of Prime Commercial Bank Limited in the records of Land Revenue Office, Inaruwa, Sunsari, and all adjoining areas of the house/land.

2. The house/land with an area of 0-10-0-0 (bigha) in Plot No. 422, located in Ward No. 3 (Sit No. 3/A), Itahari U.M.N.P., Sunsari District, registered in the name of Prime Commercial Bank Limited in the records of Land Revenue Office, Inaruwa, Sunsari, and all the adjoining land covered by the house/land.

3. House/land registered in the name of Prime Commercial Bank Limited in the records of Land Revenue Office Belwari, Morang, located in Ward No. 9 (Sit No. 2/A) of Bairban VDC/NPA, Morang District, having area 0-3-9-1, 0-1-17-3 and 0-1-17-0 (type) respectively in Plot No. 1120, 1188 and 1189 and all the adjoining land covered by the house/land.

Terms and conditions of sale of non-banking assets:

1. Bid application forms can be obtained from the Debt Recovery Department of this bank at its central office, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu and branch office, Dharan, Sunsari from Sunday, 25/04/2082.

2. Separate applications can also be submitted for separate non-banking assets.

3. The bidder must attach a cash deposit of at least 10 (ten) percent of the total amount he intends to purchase as a deposit along with the bid application form to the Inter Department A/C LRD (001-2231020000) account of this bank or an A/C Payee Cheque of a bank or financial institution drawn in the name of this bank.

4. The bidder must be a Nepali citizen or a registered organization, firm or company in Nepal. In addition, if the bidder is a natural person, a passport size photograph, a copy of the citizenship certificate, if a corporate organization/company/firm, a power of attorney, a decision of the board of directors, a copy of the registration certificate, and a copy of the Permanent Account Number (PAN) certificate must be submitted with the application.

5. Since the sealed bid date is Saturday, 2082/04/31, which is a public holiday, it must be registered at the branch office of this bank, Dharan, Sunsari, by Sunday, 2082/05/01, during office hours. No action will be taken on applications received after the deadline or without formalities or submitted with conditions.

6. The sealed bids will be opened on Monday, 2082/05/02 at 4:00 PM at the branch office of this bank, Dharan, Sunsari in the presence of the bidder or his representatives appointed in writing and other officials. The absence of the bidder or his representatives will not be an obstacle to the opening of the bids. Also, if the day of opening the bids falls on an emergency public holiday, the bids will be opened on the day the office is open immediately after the holiday. Or not. 7. If the bid is accepted, the remaining amount will have to be deposited in cash with this bank within 7 (seven) days from the date of notification of acceptance of the bid and the non-banking property will be transferred to its name. All fees and all revenue and other expenses incurred in transferring the property will have to be borne by the bidder.

8. If the remaining amount is not deposited or cannot be deposited within the specified time, the deposit amount will be automatically forfeited. If the bid is not accepted, the proposers will be paid only after the decision regarding the bid is made from this bank's branch office, Dharan, Sunsari. Also, no interest will be paid on that amount.
