Notice regarding herb export fee contract!

Pyuthan Municipality, Municipal Executive Office Pyuthan, as per the provisions of Schedule 4 C.No. 72 of the Local Government Operation Act 2074 and the approved Financial Act of this municipality for the fiscal year 2082/083, 'A', 'B' of 'K', 'K', therefore, interested registered firms and construction entrepreneurs registered under Value Added Tax should purchase the tender form from the Pyuthan Municipal Executive Office by paying the tender form fee of Rs. 1,000.- (non-refundable) and also clearly state the contract amount in figures and letters and sign the sealed tender form. The amount to be paid at the rate of 5 percent of the contract amount including tax will be deposited in the name of this office in Nepal Bank Limited Bijuwar Branch, G 3.1 Pyuthan N.P. Local Level Deposit Account No. This notice is published for the information of all concerned who are requested to submit their sealed bids by themselves or through their representatives by 12:00 PM on the specified date along with the bank voucher deposited in the account number 28103000000001. All rights to reject or accept the submitted bids are reserved by this municipality. For further information, please contact the Revenue Branch of Pyuthan Municipality during office hours.

Sealed Bid Submission Period: 2082.04.30 to 2082.05.13 Date, Time and Place of Opening of Sealed Bids: 2082.05.14 at 2:00 PM Bids submitted within the specified time will be opened at the Office of the Pyuthan Municipal Executive, Bijuwar in the presence of the bidders and their representatives. There will be no impediment to opening the submitted bids even if the bidders or their representatives are not present.

Conditions and Restrictions:

1. The instructions issued from time to time by the federal, provincial governments, and municipalities must be followed.

2. If any dispute arises between the contractor and the municipality office regarding the terms and conditions of the contract, the decision of the municipality shall be final and binding. No complaint shall be entertained by the contractor in this regard. When the bid is accepted and the agreement is made, the terms and conditions as per the Act and Rules shall also be kept.

3. While purchasing the tender form, a copy of the firm registration certificate, permanent account number (including value added tax registration) and tax payment certificate for the financial year 2080/081 must be submitted.

4. The contractor will have to bear the VAT, income tax and any other taxes, fees and charges related to this income contract.

5. At the time of contract agreement, the total amount due, including 50 percent of the contract amount, advance income tax, and VAT, will have to be deposited in one lump sum. The remaining 50 percent amount will have to be submitted in an approved bank guarantee (performance bond) valid until mid-2083 Paush. The remaining 50 percent amount, including VAT and advance income tax, will have to be paid by mid-2082 Chaitra.

6. If the specified installment is not paid within the deadline, a penalty of 10 percent will be levied as per the rules.

7. If there is a discrepancy between the numbers and letters written in the bid, the letters will be accepted. No action will be taken against the bid that contains any conditions and is not in compliance with the rules.

8. After the contract is approved and the agreement is signed, no claim for waiver of the contract fee can be made in the event of a man-made shutdown such as a strike, except in cases where the contract is interrupted by a decision of the federal and provincial governments, municipalities, or courts.

9. If the last day for submitting income contract forms falls on a public holiday, the purchase and submission of bids can be done on the next day when the office is open, at the specified time.

10. The terms and conditions mentioned in this notice shall be as per this notice and in case of any other provision, the prevailing law shall prevail.
