Emergency Response Preparedness for GLOF Resilience in Thame and Downstream Villages

Supported by The American Himalayan Foundation (AHF), the project's major objective is to strengthen community resilience against Glacier Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs) through the design, development and implementation of a technically robust, community-centered Early Warning System (EWS) and Emergency Response Preparedness (ERP) in Thame and downstream settlements upto Surkhey village, located in Solukhumbu, Nepal.

SPCC invites tender
for procurement, transportation, installation and required fencing for the following components:
a. Automatic Weather Station
b. Radar Water Level Sensor
с. Audio Emergency Notification System
d. Data Collection Platform
e. Software for the above, as required
1. Interested and eligible suppliers/companies may visit SPCC website (www.spcc.org.np) to download the detailed tender document, which can be found under the page "Get involved".
3.
Tender shall be delivered to SPCC in sealed envelopes to SPCC Kathmandu Office within 5:00 pm of 12th September 2025.
4.
Bidder shall deposit a non-refundable sum of NPR. 5,000 in cash or bank deposit along with the bid document.
5.
EOI shall be assessed based on parameters set by SPCC. This includes, but not limited to qualification, experience and know-how of high altitude and financial terms.
6.
SPCC reserves the right to award none or all of the works to the bidders.
