7-day notice inviting confidential sealed bids for sale of non-banking assets

The following property, land, houses and lands owned by Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited are to be sold through a confidential sealed bid in the same condition and quantity as they are, and the individuals and organizations interested in purchasing them are requested to deposit at least 10 (ten) percent of the amount they have agreed to, subject to the conditions mentioned in the bid form provided by this bank.

You are hereby invited to submit the duly filled in confidential sealed bid form to the Corporate Office of this Bank, Non-Performing Loans and Non-Banking Asset Management Department located at Biratnagar or the branch office of the Bank within 7 days from the date of publication of this notice, along with the bank voucher, during office hours. The bids received by this Bank will be opened on the date, time and place mentioned in the details, and the interested purchaser/bidder or his/her authorized representative is hereby informed that the bids will be opened at the same place. If the specified day falls on a holiday, the bids will be opened on the next bank working day at the same time and place. The Bank reserves the right to accept/reject or cancel or negotiate the bids received without giving any reason. The bid form can be purchased from this Bank by paying the prescribed fee. 1. The amount of money you bid for must be clearly stated in figures and words in the confidential sealed bid. The details of the property you wish to purchase must be as per the notice published by this bank.

The bidder who wishes to buy only some of the property to be auctioned by a customer, without taking all of it, must provide a clear description of the property he wishes to buy and fill in its price in figures and words on the basis of the same information. 2. Along with the bid, a half-cut receipt of a voucher deposited in this bank for at least 10 percent of the amount he has bid for, or an original copy of a bank letter drawn in the name of this bank, must be submitted.

3. If you wish to view the bank security for the auction sale, you can contact this bank during office hours before submitting your bid and inspect it in its current condition. Also, it must be accepted in the same condition and with the same proof.

4. The property must be transferred to the bidder's name by paying the entire amount of the bid within at least 7 days as specified by the bank from the date of receipt of the notification of acceptance of the bid.

If the remaining amount is not paid within the deadline, the deposit amount will automatically be forfeited.

5. No changes will be made to the amount or terms mentioned in the bid after the bid is submitted. Also, the security deposit will not be refunded until the bid is accepted or rejected.

6. Bids submitted after the due date or after the deadline will automatically be cancelled.

7. All rights to accept, reject or cancel the bid shall remain vested in this bank.

8. The bidder himself will have to bear the fees, capital gains tax, other taxes and miscellaneous expenses incurred in cancelling the property registration in the name of the accepted bidder. 9. If the previous mortgagee pays the entire amount before the bid is confirmed/rejected, the bids received can be cancelled and the deposit returned.
