As per the provisions of Section 64 Sub-section 1, Clause C. of the Local Government Operation Act, 2074 and Section 11 Sub-section (2), Clause D (6) of the Act, the contract has to be arranged in the area and number mentioned in the schedule in the amount determined by the approved Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) in the year 2082/083, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned, and eligible interested firms or companies who have completed the legal process may participate in the bidding process subject to the conditions as per the schedule. The date of publication of the notice shall not be reduced to the lowest price within the specified time limit. The PPMO website http://www.bolpatra.gov.

1. Seventy-two sand dunes (including Ghatgaddi) from the Karki village bridge of Sukekhola and Manmatta River to Khulalatar bridge and from the construction mining washing to Manmatta and up to Khulalatar bridge.

2. Seventy-two sand dunes (including Ghatgaddi) from Bakhikhola to the confluence of Manahara for Gadgade River.

3. Seventy-two sand dunes (including Ghatgaddi) from the Narayaneshwar Temple to the confluence of Manahara for the Sali River.

4. Sand extracted from mining and washing companies registered and renewed as per the rules.

1. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the website of the Public Procurement Monitoring Office www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp within the office hours up to the last date for submission of bids. For this, Rs. 10000.- (Ten thousand rupees only) (non-refundable) should be submitted to the above-mentioned bank by filling in a bank voucher and attaching a scanned copy (pdf format) of the voucher while submitting the bid documents electronically.

2. The amount of bid security, which will be 5 percent of the bid amount, should be deposited with the bid form in the deposit account no. 10

32604010000004, the original voucher or bank guarantee (Vidbond) of a bank or financial institution recognized by Nepal Rastra Bank, issued in the name of this office, valid for at least 120 days from the date of issuance of the notice, should be scanned and uploaded in PDF format and attached. Also, the renewed license certificate of the firm or company, VAT registration certificate, permanent account number registration certificate and tax payment certificate of FY 2080/081 should be scanned and uploaded in PDF format and submitted electronically from the website of the Public Procurement Monitoring Office www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp within 12:00 PM on the 31st (th) day.

3. The received bids will be opened on the 31st (th) day at 1:00 PM in the presence of the bidders or their representatives. There will be no impediment to the opening of the bids even if the bidders or their representatives are not present at the time of bid opening.

4. If the last day for submission and opening of bids falls on a holiday, the bids will be submitted by 12 noon on the next day when the office is open and the bids will be opened at 12 noon on the same day.

5. The contract number will be established based on the agreed upon rate of the remaining quantity by deducting the total quantity exported from this office from the deposit in the fiscal year 2082.083 up to the date of the agreement from the quantity (riverine-derived mineral resources) determined for collection and sale in the fiscal year 2082.083.

6. The total bid amount will be fixed in 2 installments. The first installment, which is 50 percent of the total bid amount (including value added tax), will have to be paid before the agreement is signed. The second installment, which is 50 percent of the bid amount (including value added tax), will have to be paid by mid-Chaitra 2082.

7. The contractor shall be solely responsible for collecting fees and taxes subject to the rates prescribed by the current Finance Act of the Provincial Government, Bagmati, 2082.83. The office shall not bear any responsibility in this regard, and the contractor shall himself pay all taxes payable as per the prevailing laws.

8. If any kind of dispute arises between the contractor and the office regarding the contract, Shankharapur Municipality will decide to resolve it and the office's decision will be final.

9. If the monitoring committee finds that the monitoring is not carried out in accordance with the law and standards, action will be taken in accordance with the prevailing law.

10. The contractor shall collect riverine/mineral materials by the end of Jestha of the fiscal year 082.83 and shall be able to remove the collected riverine/mineral materials from the area by the end of Ashar of the same year. Also

No compensation exemption can be claimed for being less than the specified amount due to human or natural causes.

11. Collection should be done only from the locations mentioned in the IEE report.

12. No exemption or waiver of any kind can be claimed if tax collection work is not ongoing for any reason.

13. This office reserves all rights to accept or reject the bids received.

14. The contractor shall comply with municipal, provincial and federal laws. Other matters not mentioned herein shall be governed by prevailing laws.
