Notice inviting sealed bids for the provision of security services

Since the necessary security services for Lumbini Institute of Ophthalmology and Research Center/Shri Ran Ambika Shah Eye Hospital (for a period of 1 year) are to be procured through bidding, sealed bids are invited from interested companies, firms and suppliers registered under Value Added Tax and Income Tax, subject to the following conditions.

1. A bid form can be obtained from the administration branch of this hospital by submitting an application along with a voucher showing the amount of Rs. 3000.- (non-refundable) deposited in the name of Lumbini Eye Institute in the Current Account No. 01711016531 of Lakshmi Sunrise Bank Limited Bhairahawa Branch within twenty-one (21) days (office hours) from the date of publication of this notice.

2. While purchasing the bid, the application must include a copy of the company's renewal certificate up to FY 2081/082, firm registration certificate, permanent account number (PAN) certificate, tax payment certificate up to FY 2080/081, and value added tax (VAT) registration if any.

3. The duly filled bids must be registered at the Administration Branch of Lumbini Institute of Ophthalmology and Research Center Shri Ran Ambika Shah Eye Hospital, Bhairahawa by 12:00 PM on the 22nd day from the date of first publication. The registered bids will be opened after 2:00 PM on the 22nd day in the presence of the ZPK representative, the bidder or his representatives at Lumbini Institute of Ophthalmology and Research Center Shri Ran Ambika Shah Eye Hospital, Bhairahawa. Even if the bidder or his representatives are not present, there will be no obstacle to opening the bids.

3. If the last day for the sale and submission of bids falls on a holiday, the next day when the office is open will be considered the last day.

4. The bid rate quoted by the bidder must be clearly stated in figures and words without any corrections. Any bid submitted with corrections will not be accepted.

5. While purchasing the bid, the bidder must purchase the bid form bearing the official signature and office seal of Lumbini Institute of Ophthalmology and Research Center/Shri Ran Ambika Shah Eye Hospital.

6. The bidder shall submit a performance bond of 2.5% of the contract amount deposited in the account number 01711016531 of Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited Bhairahawa Branch in the name of Lumbini Eye Institute or a bid bond of a category (A) commercial bank with a validity of 90 days in the name of this office along with the bid. The bidder whose bid is accepted shall deposit the amount of 5% of the contract amount as performance bond in the account number 01711016531 of Laxmi Bank Limited Bhairahawa Branch in the name of Lumbini Eye Institute.

7. All taxes shall be borne by the bidder. No reimbursement of any tax paid will be given by this hospital.

8. Security personnel shall not be paid less than the minimum wage prescribed by the Government of Nepal.

9. In terms of security personnel, there should be at least 1 security commander and 37 security personnel, totaling 38 (including Krishnanagar, Lumbini, Taulihawar, and Butwal). If the hospital requires additional security personnel, they should be provided as per the Sadar rate.

10. No action will be taken on any bid received without completing the required formalities.

11. The accepted bidder will be required to provide uniforms and identity cards to the security personnel.

12. Preference will be given to firms with experience in security-related work.

13. The Lumbini Institute of Ophthalmology and Research Center Shri Ran Ambika Shah Eye Hospital Management Committee shall have the sole right to accept or reject any bid received, keeping in mind the interests of this hospital.

14. Each bidder must fully comply with the conditions mentioned in the bid form and must mandatorily submit the details asked to be provided. loce

16. Other matters shall be as specified in the terms and conditions and agreement.
