Notice inviting bids for operating a confectionery shop

As a contract arrangement is required for the operation of a confectionery shop on an area of ​​18.75 square meters on the north side of the terminal building of Simara Airport, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned. Interested individuals/institutions/firms/companies who have obtained a license to conduct the related business are requested to submit a bid form subject to the following conditions.

1. Within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this notice, the bid form can be purchased by depositing Rs. 3390/- (three thousand three hundred ninety only in words) including Value Added Tax (non-refundable) in the account number 1090100064917001 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Bishal Bazaar, and submitting the original voucher to the office and submitting the receipt received, firm registration certificate with renewal, and a copy of the registration certificate of Value Added Tax/Permanent Account Number to the office.

2. Bid forms must be purchased within 15 (fifteen) days of the date of publication of the notice and submitted to the office by 12:00 PM on the 16th (sixty) day. The submitted bids will be opened at 2:00 PM on the same day in the presence of the concerned bidder or his representative. On that day, a representative with an authorization letter must be present on behalf of the bidder. Even if the bidder or his representative is not present, there will be no obstacle to opening the bids. If the last day for purchasing and registering bids falls on a public holiday, the bids will be purchased and registered on the next day when the office is open at the same time and place.

3. Along with the bid, the bidder must submit a firm or company registration certificate (including renewal), a license to operate the business from the concerned body, a value-added tax/permanent account number registration certificate, a copy of the tax payment certificate, a copy of the citizenship certificate, and a written self-declaration stating that he/she is not disqualified from participating in the business operations, has not been punished in this regard, or has not been blacklisted.

4. The contract period for operating the confectionery shop will be 5 (five) years. The minimum contract amount for that period has been fixed at Rs. 4,93,259.80/-(in words Rs. four lakh ninety-three thousand two hundred sixty-nine rupees and eighty paisa only). In addition, from the second year onwards, the remaining rental amount after deducting the amount of the year in which the work was completed from the total contract amount will automatically increase in proportion to the inflation index determined by Nepal Rastra Bank and the additional rental amount to be fixed accordingly will also have to be paid.

5. Individuals and firms that have outstanding dues to the Authority and its subordinate offices will not be allowed to participate in the bidding. Proof of non-payment of outstanding dues to the Authority must be submitted at the time of purchasing the bidding documents.

6. A bid security amount of 5% of the bid amount, in the form of an original voucher deposited in the office's deposit account number 00700105000152 at Everest Bank, or a bank guarantee (Bid Bond) of an amount equivalent to that amount, issued in the name of the office by a 'A' class commercial bank with a validity period of at least 180 days (from the date of bid opening), must be submitted along with the bid.

7. The envelope of the submitted bid should be sealed and the subject of the bid should be clearly written on the outside of the envelope, addressed to Shri Simara Civil Aviation Office, Simara, Bara and registered in the administration branch of the office.

8. When filling in the bid price, it should be written in both figures and words. In case of any discrepancy between figures and words, the written price will be accepted.

9. No action will be taken on bids submitted without due process, after the deadline, with conditions, or without the submission of the prescribed documents.

10. The office reserves all rights to accept or reject the bid.

11. Other conditions related to the bid shall be as mentioned in the bid form.

12. This notice will be available on the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal website: www.caanepal.gov.np and in the newspaper.

13. Other matters not covered in this notice will be as per the Airport Service Fee Regulations, 2078 BS and prevailing laws and regulations.

14. If you need to understand any other matters related to this, you can do so at the office during office hours.

15. In addition to the terms and conditions in the notice and the terms of the bid, other necessary terms and conditions may be included in the contract.
