1. Social Welfare Center, Old Age Home, Pashupati invites bids from suppliers registered with the relevant body in accordance with the prevailing law to supply rations as per the approved standards for 230 senior citizens from 1st January 2082 to mid-2083 Paush, within 30 (thirty) days from the date of first publication.

2. The type and quantity of rations to be purchased will be as mentioned in the bidding documents.

3. Interested Nepali suppliers who wish to supply ration through the tender shall submit their bids through the e-bidding system. The bidders shall deposit the non-refundable bid fee of Rs. 5000.00 (Five thousand rupees only) in the Bank Account No. 100010020001000 Revenue Head No. 14229 of this office with Office Code No. 340003502 of the Rastriya Banijya Bank, Teku Branch, located at the Office of the Controller of Treasury and Accounts, Babarmahal, Kathmandu. The scanned copy of the bank deposit should be uploaded.

4. The bid validity period will be 90 (ninety) days from the date of bid opening.

5. While submitting the bid, a bank voucher or a scanned copy of a bank guarantee issued by a commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank under category "A" should be uploaded along with the bid, valid for 120 days from the date of bid opening, at Nepal Rastra Bank, Baluwatar, Kathmandu, Office Code No. 27-340-03 (New Code 340003502) or a bank guarantee issued by a commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank under category "A" should be submitted. The original copy of the bank guarantee should be submitted on the day of bid opening.

6. The submitted bids will be opened on 2082.08.21 at 2:00 PM in the presence of the bidder or his representative at the Social Welfare Center, Old Age Home, Pashupati. There will be no impediment to opening the bids even if the bidder or his representative is not present. In case the bids cannot be opened on the pre-determined date due to various reasons, the validity period of the bids and bid security will be calculated from the pre-determined date.

7. If the last day of opening the bid falls on a public holiday, the bid will be opened on the next day at the same time as the office is open.

8. The item-wise rate should be clearly mentioned in the bid in both figures and words. In case of any discrepancy between figures and words, the price in words will prevail.

9. No action will be taken against bids that have been received after the deadline and have not been received in full.

10. No price increase will be given during the contract period for supplying rations.

11. All rights to accept, reject, partially accept or reject the bid shall be reserved by this Social Welfare Center, Old Age Home, Pashupati.

12. In the case of matters not mentioned in the notice, the Public Procurement Act, 2063 BS and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2064 BS shall apply. ne
