Notice inviting sealed bids for the purchase of 55 HP tractor

1. Urlabari Municipality, Morang invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the purchase of 55 H.P. Tractor through national level open sealed bid.

2. Eligible bidders may contact this office at the following address for further information or to view (study) the bid documents: Buyer: Urlabari Municipal Corporation Office, Morang, Mobile No. 9852030919 or 9842096327.

3. Sealed bid documents can be purchased from the Commodity Branch Room No. 105 or Agriculture Branch Room No. 114 of this office by affixing a stamp of Rs. 20.- during office hours (non-refundable) within 15 days from the date of first publication of this notice in a national daily newspaper.

4. Interested firms, companies, suppliers or organizations, while purchasing the sealed bid form, should have the license to trade in the relevant subject renewed for the financial year 2082/083 or the firm registration certificate, permanent account number (PAN/VAT), citizenship certificate. Copies of the tax payment certificate up to the financial year 2081/082 certified by a recognized notary public and attached to the application. The proprietor can purchase it in person or by sending a representative with official approval.

5. When submitting the sealed bid form, the sealed bid form can be registered at the municipality office by an authorized person by sending it in a sealed envelope addressed to this office within 12:00 PM on the 16th day from the date of first publication of this notice in a national daily newspaper, stating the work for which the sealed bid form is being submitted, including the name, address, phone number, and details of the work. The registered form must bear the signature of the office head or the seal of this office.

6. The registered sealed bid forms will be opened at this office on the 16th day at 1.00 PM sharp in the presence of the sealed bidders or their representatives and the representatives of the office. Even if the sealed bidders or their representatives are not present, there will be no impediment to opening the sealed bid forms.

7. If the last day for submission and opening of sealed bid forms falls on a public holiday, the said work will be done on the next day immediately following the holiday, at the same time, when the office is open.

8. The sealed bid shall be valid for a period of at least 120 days, calculated from the date of bid opening, in accordance with the validity period of the sealed bid.

9. When submitting sealed bids, the price excluding value added tax must be submitted.

10. This office reserves the right to accept or reject the sealed bid in whole or in part.

11. Matters not mentioned in this notice are as per the sealed bid document provided by the office and in case of other matters, the Public Procurement Act 2063 and the Public Procurement Regulations 2075 issued by this municipality.

And it will be according to the prevailing rules.
