As a Trainee Cluster Merchandiser Assistant Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience in merchandising operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes, while developing the skills required to lead a team in the future. Upon successful completion of the 1 year training period, trainees will be confirmed as Cluster Merchandiser Assistant Manager.

 


 

Position: Trainee Cluster Merchandiser Assistant Manager

Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Location: Head Office- Daily cluster/field visits (location flexibility required within Kathmandu Valley during the 1-year training period)

No of vacancy: 2

Standard Time: 7 AM-3 PM (time flexibility required during training period)

 


 

Key Result Areas

  • Receive and verify stocks sent from different Distribution Centers (DCs) to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for packages/packets and ensure proper filing.
  • Implement and maintain visually appealing product displays in accordance with company merchandising guidelines.
  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, merchandising effectiveness, and other key metrics.
  • Ensure products are displayed in an organized and customer-friendly manner to enhance sales
  • Adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles to maintain product quality
  • Rotate stock regularly to ensure freshness and minimize ageing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor at all times.
  • Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improving stock management and merchandising processes.
  • Provide suggestions to improve the effectiveness of merchandising strategies based on observations and data analysis.

 


 

Job Specification

  • Education & Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

 


 

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; freshers keen on merchandising or SCM career are welcome to apply.

 


 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Should be able to do physical work as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with the staff and handling requests.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
  • Flexible time, must be mobile and should be able to freely travel and be placed anywhere in Nepal.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and merchandising principles.

 


 

Additional Requirement

  • Must have a valid 2-wheeler license and own a personal vehicle
