Position : Country Finance Director

 


 

Job Purpose 

The Jobholder will be responsible for formulating the short and long-term business strategy and driving business results in collaboration with the leadership team. The CFD manages all the financial needs aof the operation with all the necessary requirements for control processes, management reporting, regulatory reporting, business and financial planning, shared services, cash management and taxation.

 


 

Key Responsibilities will Include : 

  • Lead effective financial management of business, including annual budgeting, cash flow planning and forecasting of annual and quarterly earnings.
  • Drive business and operating performance with topline growth, profitability and capital utilization.
  • Drive margin management in the business through revenue growth management and cost efficiency.
  • Function as a key business and decision-making partner for the GM, functional directors and support the growth agenda for the business.
  • Implementing and supervising the approved strategies, policies, annual plans and budget after the approval from BOD.
  • Oversee financial activities related to employee insurance, import/export administration, licensing, contracts and agreements, legal areas and activities and corporate level negotiations.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to maximize profitability, minimize discounting and promote profitable packs
  • Manage and review accounting applications related to sales, commercial activities, payroll and plant operations.
  • Manages commodity risk and procurement strategies for the operation.
  • Manage financial matters related to procurement, including negotiating supplier contracts and ensuring cost-efficient procurement strategies. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement processes.
  • Develop procurement strategies that align with financial goals and organizational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement activities, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors (BOD) and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

 


 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Degree in Business Administration, with Finance specialization or preferably with Chartered Accountant qualification
  • 10-12 years of operational experience in various Finance roles in reputed Beverage Industry
  • Experience in Business Partnering, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Statutory Reporting in FMCG environment
  • Proven experience in the development and execution of strategic financial plan
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build a powerful team of financial professionals
  • Demonstrated success in formulating and executing strategic financial plans
  • Experience in procurement management, supplier negotiations, and cost control
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High levels of Integrity and ethical standards
