British Council Services Nepal Private Limited is looking to select and source 10 suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of English Language Technical Advisor. In this position, you will conduct interviews and carry out assessments for the IELTS Speaking module, maintaining the standards required by the IELTS Professional Support Network (PSN) and the British Council. This role may require some video call testing and delivery of IELTS preparation webinars.
Position : English Language Technical Advisor
To be considered for the role, you will need:
1. Mandatory Requirement: Existing working rights in Nepal- priority will be given to Nepalese citizen.
2. Education: An undergraduate degree or Bachelors' degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate or Bachelors' degree is essential. DELTA or other Diploma level qualification with a TEFL/TESOL focus and Recognised Young Learners' Teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA or TYLEC) would be desirable.
3. Training/ Certification: One of the following certifications would be required:

4. All qualifications must be validated by a reputable institution and accredited by a professional certification board. If requested, applicants are required to provide additional information.
5. Experience: A minimum of 3 years' full-time (or equivalent part-time) teaching experience to adults (age 16 and above) is required. If an applicant's EFL/ESOL qualification is at certificate level (or equivalent), one of the three years of full-time teaching must be post-EFL/ESOL certificate qualification. If the EFL/ESOL qualification is at diploma level or higher, the teaching experience can have been completed before the qualification. (Note: "full-time teaching" is classified as a minimum of 14 hours of face-face teaching per week. Freelance and volunteer teaching are not included.)
6. Other qualities: The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.
The remuneration for this role will be negotiable.
