Dhulikhel Hospital (DH) is seeking a Senior Advisor, International Engagement (Volunteer) to support its Office of Global Engagement. This voluntary advisory role is designed to strengthen the hospital's international academic, clinical, and research collaborations. The position particularly encourages applications from Nepali diaspora and international professionals interested in contributing to institutional systems strengthening, partnership coordination, and global impact tracking. The Senior Advisor will work closely with and report to the hospital's Executive Director and the Director of Global Engagement to align international collaborations with Dhulikhel Hospital's strategic priorities.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Support mapping, coordination, and strengthening of DH's international partnerships
• Advise on systems, metrics, and documentation related to global engagement activities
• Support communication and coordination with foreign academic, clinical, and medical partners
• Assist in aligning international collaborations with DH's priority areas
• Support engagement with the Nepali diaspora and other international stakeholders

Educational Qualification

• Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Medicine, Global Health, International Relations, Education, or a related field.

Experience

• Experience in international partnership development or global engagement
• Experience working within academic, research, or medical institutional settings
• Familiarity with international exchange, collaboration, or mobility programs

Skills / Knowledge

• Strong intercultural and international communication skills
• Ability to advise on institutional systems, coordination, and documentation
• Understanding of academic, clinical, and research collaboration environments

Language Requirement

• Fluency in English required
• Spanish, Portuguese, or other international languages preferred

Position Status

• Volunteer, non-remunerated
