Position: Editor-in-Chief (Online Portal)

Job Summary

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for leading the editorial strategy, content development, and overall management of the online portal of the television company. This role ensures that all digital content aligns with the brand's voice, journalistic standards, and audience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the editorial team, including writers, editors, and multimedia contributors.
• Plan, assign, and supervise the creation of news stories, features, videos, and interactive content.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, timeliness, and ethical standards in all content published on the portal.
• Collaborate with the TV newsroom to repurpose or extend content for the digital audience.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure content supports business goals.
• Innovate with new formats and content strategies to grow digital reach and audience loyalty.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of editorial experience
• Strong writing, editing, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of online media trends, social media, and multimedia storytelling.
