Position: Producer

Job Summary

The Producer is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the production of television programs-news, talk shows, entertainment, or special features. They manage the entire process from concept development to the final broadcast, ensuring content is engaging, editorially sound, and meets the channel's quality and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop program ideas, scripts, and content in coordination with editorial and creative teams.
• Plan and manage the production schedule, including shooting, editing, and airing timelines.
• Coordinate with hosts, reporters, editors, camera crew, graphics team, and technical staff.
• Guide scriptwriting, segment planning, and show rundowns.
• Supervise the shoot and direct the team during studio or field productions.
• Ensure that content aligns with the show's objectives, audience interests, and channel policies.
• Monitor and manage production budgets and resources.
• Oversee post-production process, including video editing, graphics, sound, and final review.
• Handle unexpected issues during live or recorded broadcasts with professionalism and quick decision-making. 
• Ensure all legal, ethical, and copyright standards are maintained.
• Analyze audience feedback and ratings to improve show quality and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in television production (as assistant producer or producer).
• Strong editorial judgment, creativity, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and multitask in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with TV production equipment, studio workflows, and editing software.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Flexible to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
