The People & Culture Manager will lead all people-related functions across the organization, ensuring our HR strategy is tightly aligned with our editorial and business goals. The role spans the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance, development, and well-being, in one of Nepal's most dynamic andfast-moving media organizations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategy & Culture

  • Lead KMG's People & Culture strategy, rooted in our organizational values and long-term vision
  • Foster a workplace culture defined by inclusion, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Drive employer branding efforts that position KMG as a destination for Nepal's top talent

 


 

Talent & Workforce

  • Own end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding ensuring every new hire starts strong
  • Lead workforce planning in partnership with department heads and senior leadership
  • Design career growth pathways and succession frameworks across the organization Employee Experience & Well-being
  • Build and run employee engagement programs from team-building initiatives to mental health campaigns and internal events
  • Champion work-life balance and employee wellness as organizational priorities, not afterthoughts
  • Serve as a trusted resource for staff across all levels, handling grievances and conflict with empathy and professionalism

 


 

Performance & Development

  • Manage performance review systems in a fair, consistent, and growth-oriented manner
  • Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programs accordingly
  • Support managers in giving meaningful feedback and developing their teams veloping

 


 

Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll administrati administration with accuracy and care
  • Ensure full compliance with the Nepal Labor Act and all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Maintain robust HR records, analytics, and reporting systems
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the People & Culture team 

 


 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Master's You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • You bring between 5 to 8 years of progressive HR or People & Culture experience, in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Nepal's labor laws and HR best practices
  • You've built engagement and culture programs from the ground up, and have the results to show for it
  • You lead with emotional intelligence: people trust you, and you know how to build that trust across a large, diverse organization
  • You are equally comfortable in a leadership meeting and handling a sensitive employee situation
  • You handle confidential information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism
