Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services (KIDS), a non-governmental and non-profitable organization working in the field of Health, Education, Nutrition, Climate change, Food security, Livelihood and WASH since 2005 in Lumbini Provinces of Nepal. KIDS is implementing Sabal Balika Sabal Samudaya (SaBaSS) (Nutrition, WASH & DRRCC and Livelihood) and Sponsorship communication project in partnership with Plan International Nepal at Bijay Nagar rural municipality of Kapilvastu District. Connecting this program, we would like to invite application from the interested Nepalese candidates who are eligible, accountable and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following position.

 

Position: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA) (Agriculture)

Required: 1

Duty Station: Bijay Nagar rural municipality

 


  

Required qualifications and experience

  • Diploma/JTA/TSLC in Agriculture (Plant Science) from a recognized institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in agriculture extension, community mobilization, or livelihood projects.
  • Good knowledge of vegetable production, integrated pest management (IPM), climate-smart agriculture, and farmer training.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in Nepali; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  • Valid two-wheeler driving license with willingness to travel extensively within Kapilvastu is preferred.
  • Skill, knowledge and experience on livelihood project management.
