Kathmandu University, School of Medical Sciences, is looking for the following faculty positions on contract/regular basis. Candidates who have completed required year of work experiences and meet other requirements mentioned below can apply.

Position : Associate Professor

Program : Medical/Dental/Nursing/Physiotherapy/Public Health

Qualification/ Department

• MD Pathology -1
• MD Emergency- 1 MS ENT-1
• MS Surgery (Oncology) - 1

Requirement

• Should have postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in the respective subject together with experience of three years as Assistant Professor, and
• Should have minimum of two researches and one research/original article published in Indexed national /international scientific journals as first author at the level of Assistant Professor.

Or

• Should have postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification recognized by Kathmandu University and holding the position of a consultant in a recognized hospital with an experience of 8 years (including 3 years teaching experience in the same subject) in the specialty after postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification and
• Must have 5 research/original articles published in national/international Indexed journal, as First author.

Or

• Should have DM/M.Ch degree and 6 years of work experience after MD/MS including DM/M.Ch. Candidate must have the teaching experience for a minimum of two years in recognized Medical College/ Institute and Candidate should have three original articles related within the subject area of DM/M.Ch.
