Position: Computer Teacher for Basic Level (Lower Secondary Level)

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and age-appropriate computer lessons aligned with school's curriculum and learning objectives.
• Assess and track student progress; maintain records and report to the school leadership and parents.
• Manage & maintain computer lab equipment, ensure proper maintenance and functionality, oversee student use, and ensure proper digital safety protocols.
• Prepare students for project-based learning, digital presentations, and school exhibitions.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school-wide events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Fluent English language skills both spoken and written.
• Minimum 10+2 (Bachelor's Degree preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (B.Ed. or teaching license preferred)
• Prior teaching minimum 1-2 years' experience in a school setting, especially with children in Primary and Lower Secondary levels with passion for teaching and working with children.
• Familiar with the CDC Nepal Curriculum and current trends in ICT education.
• Able to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

• Passion for teaching and innovation in digital education.
• Understanding of programming platforms (Scratch, Python basics, etc.).
• Team player with a proactive and student-centered approach; able to engage young learners with patience, clarity, and enthusiasm.

• Willing to contribute to co-curricular IT-based activities, clubs, or competitions.
