Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, a significant eye care NGO operating 28 eye hospitals, 224 eye care centers, and various outreach programs, is seeking applications from qualified and energetic Nepali individuals aged below 35 years of age for following project at Biratnagar Eye Hospital (BEH). BEH has an excellent international reputation and performs more than 70,000 surgeries annually.
The research project is supported by Yale University and entitled as "Assessing Disease Burden, Awareness, and Referral Barriers to Improve the Diabetic Retinopathy Care Cascade: A Pilot Study (CASCADE-DR Nepal)." This study aims to assess the burden of diabetic retinopathy, patient awareness, referral completion, treatment uptake, and patient, provider, and health-system barriers affecting diabetic retinopathy care in Biratnagar.

Qualification & Experience
Preferred Experiences: Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of relevant research experience, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Candidates should have working knowledge of REDCap and statistical software such as SPSS/Stata/R, along with experience in report writing, grant proposal development and manuscript preparation.
