Job Description

• Research, gather, and generate news content and updates from across Nepal.
• Regularly review website sections to ensure content accuracy, freshness, and relevance.
• Upload, format, and publish news articles and other content on the company's website portal. Edit and proofread content in Nepali prior to publication to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor website content regularly for outdated or incorrect information and update as needed.
• Tag and categorize news stories appropriately to ensure easy navigation and discoverability.
• Troubleshoot and report any issues encountered in the website to technical support.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Nepali (typing fluency required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in news writing, reporting, or digital content creation (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in website content posting or CMS handling (preferred).
• Proficiency in Nepali and English content editing.
• Proficiency in script writing, proofreading, and report-making.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume full responsibility for portal content.
