Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) Karnali Province Office, Birendranagar, Surkhet is seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time English Translator for a short time. The suitable and qualified Nepali citizens are invited to apply.

Position : Part-Time English Translator

Location : Birendranagar, Surkhet and also different districts of Karnali province

Working Hours: Flexible (as needed)

Compensation : Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Translate conversations during interviews/FGD/meetings (Nepali to English and vice versa)
• Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations
• Proofread and edit translated materials

Requirements

• Having at least 10+2 in any faculty.
• Excellent command in spoken English and Nepali language
• Proven translation experience preferred
• Having working experience in development sector preferred
• Strong grammar and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Interested to visit the different districts of Karnali province along with foreigner.
• Willingness to join HH visits in the field including walking between locations.
