Sparsa Nepal is seeking dynamic, motivated, and socially committed individuals aged 18 to 25 to join our team as Part-Time Ambassadors to conduct awareness programs on menstruation and hygiene management, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and gender issues in schools, health posts, and community settings in Chitwan, Nawalparasi, and Nawalpur. Applicants must be residents of these districts, and preference will be given to local candidates.

 


 

Duty Station: Chitwan, Nawalparasi, and Nawalpur (with frequent field visits)

Salary: NPR 18,000-20,000 per month (based on performance)

Employment Type: Part-Time (Field-Based)

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct awareness sessions in schools, health posts, and community levels.
  • Coordinate with local stakeholders and community leaders.
  • Support team implementation of community-based programs
  • Commitment to work for the entire project period is required.

 


 

Safeguarding, Values & Compliance

  • Ensure all activities align with Sparśa's values, safeguarding policies, and ethical standards.
  • Promote dignity, inclusivity, and gender-sensitive approaches in all program activities.

 


 

Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain program records, attendance sheets, and activity reports.
  • Update and manage basic databases.
  • Collect feedback, recommendations, and success stories from the field.
  • Prepare brief field reports as required.

 


 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Gender Studies or related field.

 


 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience conducting awareness sessions or community programs.
  • Experience in coordination and community engagement.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
  • Proficiency in Nepali.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. 

 


 

Preferred Qualities

  • Passion for community development and social change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
