Geotechnical/Engineer

Yellow River Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd (YREC), in JV with Environment and Resource Management Consultant (P.) Ltd (ERMC)

Interested candidates are requested to apply for the following posts for the hydropower projects under construction in various districts through this consultant YREC/ERMC JV within 7 (seven) days from the date of publication of this notice.

Position: Geotechnical/Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical/Soil/rock Engineering/with a graduate degree in Civil/Soil/Rock Engineering or a related field

Experience

• At least have extensive working experience, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in geotechnical Design & construction supervision of structures such as barrages, spillways, dams,powerhouse caverns, & waterways. specific expertise major infrastructure projects, including a minimum of 5 years in hydropower projects.
• Have worked on at least 3 hydropower projects of a minimum 30MW capacity as a Geotechnical Engineer in Design or Supervision Works.

Note: Fluency in both Nepali and English, with strong spoken and written communication skills in both languages, is required.

Details of work to be done: Will be as per requirement and TOR.

Working area and location: (Project site)

Salary: By mutual agreement

Tenure: 1 year
