Notice inviting sealed bids for the sale of butter and skimmed milk powder

As per the specifications of the Dairy Development Institute, 15 kg. block of open butter-300 MT and 25 kg. bag of skimmed milk powder (powdered milk)-300 MT have to be sold, at what price per kg. Interested firms, organizations, companies or individuals are requested to submit sealed proposals to the following address within 7 days from the date of first publication of this notice, i.e. 2082.03.01 during office hours. Conditions :-
1. While submitting the proposal, the proposer should mention the price per kg of the quantity of loose butter/powdered milk that he/she wishes to purchase, including VAT, in the proposal.
2. The offeror shall submit a deposit of 1 percent of the total price offered by the offeror in the form of an original bank voucher or bank draft or a bank guarantee valid for 30 days deposited in the account of this organization at Himalayan Bank Limited, Thamel, Account No. 01900040920026.
3. The proposer must submit a copy of the firm registration certificate, VAT registration or permanent account number registration certificate, and a copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate if the proposer is a firm, organization or company.
4. After receiving the information of the acceptance of the proposal, the proposer shall pay the entire quantity of butter or powdered milk offered for purchase in the proposal at the rate offered in the proposal and transport it himself within a maximum of 15 days by depositing the amount in cash to the Corporation. If the goods are not delivered within the said period, the Corporation shall not be responsible for any damage or loss. Also, if the goods offered are not delivered within the specified period, the deposit shall also be forfeited.
5. If the proposer wishes to export the said butter/powdered milk, the Corporation may make a recommendation to the concerned body for the same and the proposer himself will have to arrange for other necessary documents.
6. The Corporation shall have the sole right to accept, reject, or partially accept the proposals received.
