Notice regarding invitation to bid for export tax on Kawadi goods

As per Section 62 (a) of the Local Government Administration Act, 2074 and the Finance Act of this Badigad Rural Municipality, 2082, it is necessary to arrange for the export tax of goods exported, reused and not imported from this rural municipality. Therefore, interested individuals, firms or companies may participate in the bidding process by attaching a certified copy of the firm's renewal certificate, VAT registration certificate, tax payment certificate for the fiscal year 2080/81 and Nepali citizenship certificate, subject to the conditions as detailed. This notice has been published for the information of all concerned.

Conditions:

In the case of a firm, a certified copy of the renewed firm registration certificate, M.A.C. registration certificate, a certified copy of the tax payment certificate of the year 2080/81 and in the case of an individual, a certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate, a cash voucher paid in cash to this office for the bid fee or a cash deposit in the Internal Revenue Account No. 1420115804700071 of this office located at Prabhu Bank Branch Office, Badigad, along with an application, can be purchased from the office within the office hours of the 15th day from the date of first publication of this notice. The receipt of the specified bid fee in cash to this office or the voucher deposited in the above-mentioned account No. of this office should be attached along with the bid-related documents. If the last day for submission of bids falls on a public holiday, the said work will be done on the next office opening day.
2. While filling the bid form, the bid amount should be clearly mentioned in figures and words. In case of difference in figures and words, the words will be given priority. If the bidder is a Nepali citizen, the deposit amount will be 5% of the bid amount and if the bidder is a foreigner, the deposit amount will be 10% of the bid amount. The original voucher deposited in the deposit account No. 1420115804700041 of this office at Prabhu Bank, Badigad branch or a commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank in the name of this office, mentioning the bid number and name, and a bid with a validity period of 90 days, must be submitted along with the bid.

The bidder shall fill in all the details mentioned in the purchased bid forms, seal each page, clearly state the name of the firm, address, details of the work, name of the proprietor, address, phone number, mobile number on the outside of the envelope, and affix the firm's seal, and register the hard copy at this office within 12:00 PM on the 16th day from the date of first publication.

Bids purchased in the name of one firm or organization cannot be submitted in the name of another firm or organization. Bid documents duly received will be opened at this office from 2:00 PM on the last day for submission of bid documents in the presence of representatives of various offices, bidders or their representatives. Also, if the bidders or their representatives are not present at the time of bid opening, there will be no obstacle to bid opening. If the said day falls on a holiday, the work will be done on the next day when the office is open.
Detailed information regarding the bid is mentioned in the bid form and can be obtained from the same booklet or by contacting this office. The office will not be obligated to accept bids submitted after the deadline, without formalities or without conditions. This office shall have full authority to accept or reject bids.
If the bid is accepted, the amount corresponding to 50% of the first installment of the bid amount must be paid within 7 days from the date of receipt of the notice or the date of posting the notice at the doorstep, along with the VAT registration certificate. The amount corresponding to 50% of the second installment must be collected from a commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank and a bank guarantee (performance bond) issued in the name of this office with a validity period of up to mid-Bhadra 2083. The person or firm bidding on the bid must submit a bank voucher to this office showing that the total amount payable for the bid amount, service fee, and 13% VAT amount has been deposited in the relevant revenue head as per the rules. As per the rules, the bidder must pay income tax and other taxes separately to the Government of Nepal.
