Notice regarding invitation of sealed bids for collection and sale of Kawadi

As per Section 61 of the Local Government Operation Act, 2074, a contract has to be arranged for the collection and sale of Kawadi within the area of ​​Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality for the financial year 2082/083, starting from the minimum amount as per the rate prescribed by the Finance Act of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality, 2082. Therefore, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned to submit sealed bids within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice.

Conditions:

1. In the case of a firm, a renewed certificate, a value added tax registration certificate, a tax payment certificate for the year 2080/081 and a certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate and in the case of an individual, a certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate. In the case of a foreign citizen, a certified copy of the license obtained to do business. The bid form can be purchased from the Revenue Branch of the office by submitting an application along with a cash voucher paid in cash to this office or deposited in cash in the Internal Revenue Account No. 00815413078 of this office located at Siddhartha Bank Branch Office, Dumkibas, by submitting an application along with a cash voucher. The prescribed bid fee should be deposited in the above-mentioned bank account of this office along with the bid related documents. If the last day for submission of bids falls on a public day, the said work will be done on the next office opening day.

2. While filling the bid form, the bid amount should be clearly mentioned in words and figures. If there is a difference in figures, the letters will be accepted. The bid security amount should be deposited in the office's Siddhartha Bank Branch Office, Dumkibas, escrow account No. 00815153326 and a bank guarantee (bid bond) issued in the name of this office with the bid number and name mentioned in the original bank voucher or a bank guarantee (bid bond) issued with a validity of 120 days from the last date of submission of bids should be submitted.

3. The bidder shall fill in all the details mentioned in the purchased bid forms, properly stamp each page, clearly state the name and address of the firm, details of the work, name and address of the proprietor of the bid, phone no. and mobile no. on the outside of the envelope, and affix the firm's seal and register the bid copy within 12:00 PM on 2082/06/02, the date of first publication of the notice.

4. Bids purchased in the name of one firm or organization cannot be submitted in the name of another firm or organization. This office will be opened in the presence of representatives of various offices, businessmen or their representatives after 1:00 PM on 2082/06/02, the last day for submission of duly submitted bid documents. Also, if the bidder or his representative is not present at the time of bid opening, there will be no impediment to bid opening. The said day

Detailed information regarding the bid is mentioned in the bid form and can be obtained from the same booklet or by contacting this office. 6. If the bid is accepted, the first installment of 50 percent of the bid amount must be paid within 15 days from the date of receipt of the notice or the date of issuance of the notice, along with the M.A.C. Registration Certificate. The second installment of 50 percent must be paid by submitting a bank guarantee (performance bond) issued by a bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank in the name of this office with a term of up to mid-Bhadra 2083 BS and picking up the lease. The second installment of 50 percent must be paid within June 15. In addition, the person or firm bidding on the bid must pay an additional 13% VAT amount to this office as per the rules on the total amount to be paid for the bid amount and service fee. As per the rules, the bidder will have to pay income tax and other taxes separately to the Government of Nepal.

7. If the lease is not collected within the specified time, the bid security deposit will be forfeited and the bid will be disposed of as per the rules. In the context of collecting the kawadi of this rural municipality, the Local Government Operation Act, 2074, related

Other terms and conditions of the contract

1. The contract period will be from the date of receipt of the lease letter until the end of Ashar, 2083 BS.

2. The amount deposited as bid security cannot be included in the installment and the said bank guarantee and cash bid security will be returned in accordance with the prevailing law after submission of documents as per the rules.

3. The firm or company awarding the contract shall print separately the sales and export receipts to be used in collecting the tax prescribed by the firm or company and have these receipts certified by this office before using them. If tax is found to have been collected from uncertified receipts, action will be taken as per the rules. The amount earned from the above-mentioned receipts shall be credited to the sales and export income account. The order of receipt no. shall be used to calculate the VAT.

Accordingly, the accounts and receipts will have to be submitted to the rural municipality annually.

4. In case of any dispute regarding the contract, the decision of the village executive will be final.

5. Bids from firms that have outstanding dues to be paid to the rural municipality will not be accepted.

6. Separate bids and documents must be submitted for each contract.

7. The specified installment amount must be paid on time. If the final installment amount is not paid on time, the contract amount as per the agreement will be recovered from the bank guarantee submitted. The contractor will not be entitled to claim any kind of compensation in this regard.

8. Any demand for waiver of contract amount due to any circumstances will not be acceptable to the office.

9. The terms and conditions mentioned above will be governed by these terms and conditions, and any matters not mentioned will be governed by the prevailing laws and agreements made after contract acceptance.
