Since the canteen located in the office of the Chandragiri Municipality Municipal Executive Office needs to be operated systematically through the private sector by arranging an income contract, this notice inviting bids has been published for firms or companies interested in taking the contract to submit their electronic bids in accordance with the terms and conditions mentioned in the details and the provisions in the bidding document by visiting the official portal of the Public Procurement Monitoring Office https://www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp/.

Conditions:

1. The last date for submission of bids will be 2082/06/031 at 12:00 PM only and the bids will be opened at 1:00 PM on the same day in the presence of the representatives of the office and the bidders. There will be no impediment in opening the bids even if the bidder or his representative is not present at the time of opening the proposal. Also, if the day on which the bid form is opened falls on a public holiday, it will be opened on the next day when the office is open.

2. The contract and agreement period of the bid will be for 3 fiscal years (2082/083, 083/084 and 084/085).

3. The amount offered by the bidder will increase by 10 (ten) percent every two years.

4. The bidder shall submit a bid bond of 5 (five) percent of the total contract value (including VAT) as a deposit along with the bid, either in the name of this office, in the N.I.C. Asia Bank, Kalanki Branch, Deposit Account No. 10CA050686752402, or a bid bond issued in the name of this office by a "A" class commercial bank recognized by the Government of Nepal, valid for at least 120 days from the last date of bid submission.

5. The accepted bidder shall pay the first quarter of the contract amount along with the VAT registration certificate at the time of signing the contract. Thereafter, installments shall be paid at intervals of four months and the installment shall be paid by the 10th of the beginning of the quarter. If the amount is not paid within the specified period, recovery will be made from the performance security in accordance with the prevailing law. In the event of such recovery, the contractor shall not be entitled to claim any kind of damages.

6. At the time of the agreement, the bidder must submit a performance guarantee issued by a "A" class commercial bank recognized by the Government of Nepal, equal to the amount of the amount agreed upon, minus the amount paid in the first quarter, and the period of the performance guarantee must be at least 30 days longer than the date of termination of the agreement.

7. Matters other than those mentioned in the notice and bidding documents shall be in accordance with the prevailing laws.
