Notice inviting tenders/electronic bidding (E-Bid) for the excavation/collection and sale and distribution of riverine materials (stones, gravel and sand) from the Karnali Geruwa and Babai rivers flowing through Madhuban Municipality.

In order to collect internal revenue of this municipality, a contract for the collection/excavation and sale of riverine materials (stones, gravel and sand) from the specified areas of the Karnali Geruwa and Babai rivers flowing within this municipality for the fiscal year 2082/083 has to be arranged in accordance with the Local Government Operation Act, 2074, Sub-section 2(d)(6), Section 62(a)1 of the same Act, Standards for Stone, Gravel, Sand Excavation, Sale and Management, 2077, Riverine Material Management Procedure, 2075, Section 57 of the Madhuban Municipality Environment and Natural Resources Conservation Act, 2077, Section 12 of the Madhuban Municipality Finance Act, 2082 and Schedule 11 related thereto, and the conditions mentioned in the approved Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) report and bidding document of Madhuban Municipality. Therefore, a notice calling for tender/electronic bidding (E-Bid) has been published without reducing the minimum contract number. To purchase the bid, the bid fee amount will have to be deposited in the name of the Madhuvan Municipality Office in the Internal Revenue Account No. 15103000001000001 at Nepal Bank Ltd., Sanoshree Branch, Madhuvan Municipality. To submit the bid, the bidders will have to deposit the deposit amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount in cash in the name of this office in the deposit account No. 151030000030000001 at Nepal Bank Ltd., Sanoshree Branch, Madhuvan Municipality and scan the voucher and submit it. Or a bank guarantee (bid bond) issued in the name of this office from a commercial bank and financial institution recognized by Nepal Rastra Bank with a validity period of 120 days from the last date of submission of bids will have to be submitted as a deposit. The contract period of this contract will be from the date of contract agreement to the middle of Jestha 2083 BS. If the last day for purchasing and submitting bids falls on a public holiday, the above activities will be carried out on the next working day when the office is open.
