To collect the export tax on recyclable waste materials produced/emitted from within the Pokhara Metropolitan City area such as old paper, iron, plastic, other metals, black mobile phones, dead animal skin and bones, etc., to be collected from this Metropolitan City, a bid has been invited through the Public Procurement Monitoring Office's e-portal https://www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Interested firms may submit their bids by attaching certified copies of business registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, tax payment certificate for the fiscal year 2080/081, and other requested documents along with the application.

Conditions and Restrictions

1. The submitted bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidder or his representative. The absence of the bidder or his representative at the time of opening the bid shall not constitute an obstacle to the opening of the bid.

2. Deposit Amount: The minimum bid deposit amount of 5 percent of the bid amount must be deposited in the bank and submitted along with the bid form along with a bank voucher or a bank guarantee (bid bond) issued in the name of Pokhara Metropolitan City with a validity of at least 150 days. The bid will not be valid if the bidder does not have his signature on each page of the bid.

3. Other terms and conditions and restrictions will be as mentioned in the bid form, if any, and in the case of others, as per the Public Procurement Act 2063 and Regulations 2064, Pokhara Metropolitan City Contract Management Regulations, 2077. 4. While collecting the export tax on reusable garbage materials, the tax shall be collected at the rate as mentioned in Schedule 9 of the Pokhara Metropolitan City Finance Act 2081 or as amended by the Municipal Council in each fiscal year.
