ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Country Head to lead our company from early-stage development through to market growth and scale. As Country Head, you will shape our strategic direction, build and inspire a high-performing team to attract investment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Leadership : Define and execute the company's long-term vision and strategy in alignment with market needs and investor goals.
• Team Building : Recruit, build, mentor, and manage a world-class leadership team across functions including technology, product, marketing, sales and compliance.
• Operations & Growth : Oversee day-to-day operations; identify market opportunities, forge partnerships, and scale user acquisition.
• Product Oversight : Collaborate closely with product and tech teams to drive innovation, ensure compliance, and deliver a secure and user-centric digital wallet solution.
• Governance & Compliance : Ensure the company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks, especially regarding data privacy and financial regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven track record and experience in senior leadership roles, with experience in leading Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Customer Service, Project Management teams in multiple successful Telecoms and fintech and/or digital payments start-ups in Emerging South Asian markets.
• Deep understanding of digital wallets, mobile payments, AI, ML and related financial technologies.
• Experience working in emerging markets or with unbanked/underbanked population.
• Strong track record of strategic planning, operational excellence and result delivery.
• Passion for innovation, financial inclusion, and AI Native digital experiences.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical background and/or familiarity with digital wallet ecosystem & infrastructure.
• Prior success in scaling multiple start-ups.
• 20+ years of experience in Telecom and Fintech and at least 8 years in C-Level.
