DESCRIPTION
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with external data sources and APIs.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and perform performance tuning.
- Participate in the development of project plans, including development, testing, and deployment schedules.
- Maintain code integrity and organization by following and enforcing design standards and guidelines.
- Continually discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Hard Skills
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or Similar
- At least 2-4 years of proven work experience in Android development.
- Proficient in Kotlin, and other Android development tools.
- Experience with the Android SDK and writing multi-threaded apps.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Experience with AI-Assisted Coding Practice and Task Management, leveraging AI tools for task automation and optimization.
- Knowledge of Flutter Programming (preferred)
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Experience with APIs and services.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
- Knowledge of design principles and application interface guidelines.
- Proficient in code debugging and unit testing.
- Strong knowledge of different Android platforms and how to deal with different screen sizes.
