Department: Marketing, Reports To: Department Head

Job Responsibility

• Assist in achieving monthly and quarterly advertisement sales targets (print and digital).
• Identify and approach prospective clients to pitch advertising opportunities and customized solutions.
• Support the development of sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional packages.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Coordinate with design, editorial, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and placement of advertisements.
• Prepare compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and audience data to provide market insights.
• Track and report on campaign performance, client feedback, and revenue generation..
• Assist the Sales Manager in managing a sales team, setting KPIs, and mentoring junior executives.
• Represent the newspaper at client meetings, trade events, and industry forums when needed.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in media or advertising sales, preferably with exposure to both print and digital platforms.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of advertising metrics, media planning, and sales CRM tools.
• Ability to meet targets under pressure and work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiar with digital advertising tools.
