Trail-based Tourism Development Project (TTDP) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland with the main goal of "People in Koshi Province increase their income and contribute to conservation of culture with innovative and sustainable tourism offers". On Behalf of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Helvetas Nepal provides technical assistance to the project and invites applications from competent and committed Nepali Citizens for the following position.

 


 

Position : Administration and Human Resources Manager (AHRM)

Required No. : 1

Duty Station : PSU Biratnagar with extensive field visit

 


 

Job purpose

The position is responsible for smooth and well-functioning administrative management system including procurement and logistics system of the project as per the organizational policy manuals. In addition, the position is also responsible for supporting the Team Leader with overall human resource management in the project.

 


 

Required Education and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in public administration, human resource management or a relevant subject.
  • S/he should have at least 7 years of experience in a similar position, with at least five years for an international organization.

 


 

Required competencies

  • Proven competencies working in an administrative roles
  • Proven competence in human resource management
  • Proven experience in office and file management skills (personnel file and records, VAT related file, agreement and contract documents, house rent file, etc.)
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in using MS Office application and database software
  • Good verbal and written communication in Nepali and English
  • Good team player and effective communicator
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
  • Good facilitation and communication skills
  • Sound understanding and commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction
  • Ability to work under time pressure
