Position - One (1) Regional Head of Energy Portfolio Management (EPM)
Job Profile
You will actively lead the Hitachi Energy employees and office in Kathmandu, Nepal expansion of functional, technical, system administrator, and DBA teams by adding cloud support, CSO & HR teams. You shall be responsible for the employee support growth in R&D, product implementation, Client Support & Pre-Sales. Contribute towards the corporate strategy to ensure that the company achieves its short and long-term ambitions. You may also have to deal with clients in Europe and interact with them in their local language.
Experience and Academics Criteria:
- Minimum of master's degree in business administration or equivalent.
- 11+ Years of Operations/Management Experience, 8+ Years of Project Management Experience preferably within the Software Industry.
- In-depth knowledge of existing CTRM/EPM organization structure, product offerings, and client's needs.
- Sound understanding of the industry and functional expertise on CTRM/EPM Implementation.
- Multilingual is a major plus in addition to Fluency in Written/Spoken English. Strong preference for additional European languages.
Job Description:
Strategic:
- Lead growing team of Energy and Commodities Trading and Risk Management in Nepal by increasing current headcount by 50% - 100% over the next three years.
- Ability to lead teams on development, Implementation, and Integration of different software products with Hitachi's product portfolio.
- Direct and oversee planning and delivery of future product enhancement in close collaboration with executive-level management.
- Lead and guide PSO teams on strong interaction capability within Global client portfolio namely, Europe, Northern American, and APEC region.
- Implement separate team structure in Nepal for R&D, PSO, training, pre-sales activities as well as expansion of administration team to include HR and Talent Management.
- Expand on existing strong company culture to attract and retain employees.
Operational:
- Support integration of IS infrastructure into Hitachi.
- Support integration of HR processes and technology via the Hitachi Sakura project.
- Develop and control operational budgets to increase efficiency and to make sure that the Kathmandu office has all resources to meet its objectives.
- Develop necessary policies and procedures in line with Global Policies to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Evaluate different performance metrics of the Kathmandu office and ensure effective coordination with the global management team.
- Lead as the company's regional advisor on all issues in relation to the smooth operational function.
- Ability to stay abreast with the latest development within the software industry in Nepal to build a competitive position.
Facilities:
- Ensure existing facilities are open and maintained.
- Work with Hitachi real estate team to expand office space to support employee growth.
