The British School Kathmandu (TBS) is seeking a dynamic, creative and caring Primary Teacher for the academic year 2026/27. TBS is a culturally diverse international school with students from 40 countries. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are committed to providing high-quality education and supporting children's wellbeing.

Qualification

  • A bachelor's degree and a recognised teaching qualification, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

 


 

Experience

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
  • A sound understanding of teaching children with diverse learning needs, English as an additional language and international background.
  • Knowledge of effective formative and summative assessment.
  • Familiarity with the British primary curriculum.

 


 

Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to the successful candidate's availability and completion of pre-employment checks.
