सङ्खुवासभा जिल्लाको साविकका दिदिङ र मत्स्यापोखरी गाउँ विकास समितिको संयोजनबाट नेपाल सरकारको मिति २०७३ साल फाल्गुन २६ गतेको निर्णय बमोजिम यस चिचिला गाउँपालिका गठन भएको हो । साविकको दुई गा.वि.स. को केन्द्र नपर्ने हुँदा दुवै गा.वि.स. केन्द्रविन्दु चिचिला बजारमा केन्द्र राख्ने सहमतिमा यस गाउँपालिकाको नाम पनि चिचिला गाउँपालिका रहेको हो ।
