Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI), one of Nepal's leading non-life insurance companies, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and result-oriented professionals for the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO). The Company seeks a visionary leader capable of supporting the Chief Executive Officer in driving strategic growth, strengthening operational excellence, fostering innovation, enhancing organizational capability, and ensuring sustainable value creation for shareholders, customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

 

Position: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO)

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO in formul in formulating and executing the Company's strategic and business plans.
  • Lead initiatives related to business growth, operational efficiency, and organizational development.
  • Strengthen underwriting, claims, risk management, compliance, and customer service functions.
  • Drive digital transformation, process improvement, and innovation initiatives across the Company.
  • Ensure sound corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Company's financial and operational objectives.

 


 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Insurance or Finance from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role within the insurance, banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations, regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and strategic management.
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership, business growth, operational excellence, and organizational transformation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large-scale strategic initiatives.
