The Merchant Bankers Association of Nepal (MBAN) is a professional umbrella organization representing licensed merchant banks and investment institutions of Nepal. We are committed to promoting best practices, strengthening policy advocacy, and contributing to the development of Nepal's capital markets.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager to lead the day-to-dayoperations of the Association, engage with stakeholders, and support theimplementation of MBAN's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with member institutions, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
• Support the Executive Committee in strategic planning and execution of MBAN programs.
• Manage daily administrative and financial operations of the Association.
• Plan and organize events, workshops, and training sessions for capacity building.
• Draft reports, meeting notes, policy documents and correspondence.
• Represent MBAN in relevant forums and assist in policy advocacy efforts.
• Track industry trends, policy developments, & other opportunities and convert them into meaningful investment avenues for the industry.
• Prepare and present reports, whitepapers, and insights on the domestic and international opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in capital markets, merchant banking, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of Nepal's capital market and regulatory environment.

Preferred:

• Masters with prior experience in the merchant banking industry or related financial institutions will be considered a plus point.
