Nepal Women Community Service Center(NWCSC) a non-profit organization registered in Dang district, Lumbini Province is implementing PRERNA project in partnership with FAIRMED Foundation Nepal in Dang district. The project is working on integrated approach of NTDS & MNH including DID in primary health care system and supporting the local government in health system strengthening and working with communities to generate demand for health service utilization. The project is going to recruit for the following posts so interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

Position & No. :  Community empowerment and social Mobilization No: 6 

Gadhawa, Rajpur, Shantinagar, Banglachuli, Dangisharan & Babai gaunpalika

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Key Responsibilities: Community empowerment and social Mobilization must be from targeted Palika of Project area. Under the guidance of project coordinator and technical officer he/she will be responsible for the implementation of community level activities of respective municipalities. He/She will work together with existing community health structures like FCHVs, Mother Groups, schools (public/private/Madars), clubs, forest user groups, disability working groups, Self Help groups etc. in the assigned municipality.
• Minimum Requirement: At least Intermediate level preferably Health Assistant, Staffs Nurse or relevant social sciences with at least 2 years working experience in community empowerment, and mobilization. Experience in facilitating community level interaction program with good skill of maintaining public relation. He/she must be aware of the Government health system in the new federal structure. He/she is expected to have the basic knowledge about NTDs, MNH, WASH & Disability. Experienced in community health programs will be added advantage. local candidate will be preferred for this position.
