With the vision to expand and strengthen its investment management team, Hathway Investment Nepal Limited (HATHY) is inviting applications from self-motivated, dynamic, and competent individuals for the following position:

Position: Investment Head

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Salary: Negotiable. No bar for deserving candidates.

Qualification and Experience

• Master's degree in management/commerce/economics/finance from a recognized University, or Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from a recognized Institution, with up to three years of relevant experience at a similar level. Fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Besides a sound understanding of investment appraisal and portfolio management, the role also requires knowledge of Nepalese Capital Market products and services, banking procedures, and prevailing corporate laws and regulatory directives.

Knowledge/Skills

• Financial Modelling and Valuation.
• Analysis of Financial Statements.
• Risk Analysis and Management.
• Equity Research Analysis and high proficiency in MS Excel.
• Report writing and presentation of investment recommendations.
• Must have strong Analytical Skills, Computer Proficiency, Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential investments in line with HATHY's vision and investment policies and determine appropriate investment strategies for the organization.
• Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis and prepare investment project reports for presentation to the Management and the Board of Directors.
• Monitor and review the performance of the investment portfolio and prepare regular reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, prevailing laws and regulatory directives, and maintain proper administration of all investment files.
• Provide an interface with the Investment Committee and recommend new policies and changes to existing investment policies for approval.
