Officer- IT and MIS

A well reputed Bank in Nepal is looking for an energetic, result-oriented, and dynamic candidate in the following position.

Position: Officer- IT and MIS

Required No.: 1

Age: Not exceeding 40 years as of final date of the application.

Education and Experience

• Minimum Master's Degree in IT with minimum 5 Years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in IT with minimum 10 years of experience in related field of Banks and Financial Institutions with demonstrated experience in Pumori Core Banking System administration/support, MIS/report development, Database administration and Basic knowledge of Computer networking, operating system and troubleshooting etc.

Requirements

• Administer, monitor, and provide technical support for Pumori Core Banking Software, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate with the vendor when required.
• Understand CBS modules, banking transactions, system parameters, business rules, and accounting processes, and provide support for daily CBS operations.
• Identify and resolve CBS-related issues, support system configuration and enhancements, and test and document approved procedures, patches, fixes, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and MIS, management, and regulatory reports using data from the Pumori CBS database.
• Understand the Pumori database structure, including tables, fields, and relationships, and verify data to ensure reports are accurate and reliable.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, including database performance, storage, availability, backup, recovery, security, and user access.
• Configure and monitor SQL Server Always On, including database synchronization, failover, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot database problems, improve SQL query and database performance, maintain existing queries and procedures, and automate MIS reports where possible.
