(GC), Nepal are the Contractor under the contract for the Balaju Substation Upgradation Project, Contract Document for Procurement of Plant for Design, Supply, Construction, Installation, Integration, Testing and Commissioning of 132 kV/11 kV Substation at Balaju, under Contract No. RE-GOD/2080/081-05.

Position: Substation Design Engineer (Civil/Structural)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate civil and structural designs for the 132 kV/11 kV Balaju Substation in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Design and review foundations, equipment structures, control buildings, cable trenches, gantries, steel structures, roads, drainage, and other substation infrastructure.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, design calculations, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction documents for civil and structural works.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper interface and constructability of civil/structural works.
• Provide technical support during construction, resolve design and site-related issues, review as-built drawings, and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality, and project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil /structural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, or at least 5 years of experience working on design in on 132 Kv substation structure and foundations
