Agriculture Officer

Position: Agriculture Officer (Open to Female candidates only)

Duty Station: Based on Babarmahal, Kathmandu (frequent travel to districts all over Nepal)

Salary: Negotiable

Valid two-wheeler driving license is an advantage

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in the field of agriculture or veterinary science

Required skills and competencies

• Candidates participated in 3 days' agriculture, livestock and medicinal herb loss assessor training will be given foremost priority.
• Basic knowledge of agriculture, livestock and medicinal herb insurance in Nepal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (especially Excel and Word).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali, both written and spoken.
•  Good communication, coordination and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Analytical and problem solving mindset.
• High level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent documentation, presentation and reporting abilities.
